5 ways how you can boost your google adsense earning

Google adsense is a great way for webmaster to monetize their websites. While many webmasters are struggling hard to earn $3-$10 per day, some genius webmaster have already enjoyed $30-$100, and even $300 a day from adsense ads on their websites. How are these ‘genius’ webmasters, differ from their counterparts? They think different! They think out of the box!

Let me share with you some tips which has been responsible in boosting my adsense profits by 700%. . Here are 5 of them, and if youfollow these steps, I’m sure you’ll see a difference in your adsense income.

Here are the tips:

1 I concentrate on 1 format of adsense ad, which is the large rectangle (336-280), this format has been proven to work with me in resulting high click- through rates (CTR). Why this format? Because the ads look like normal web links, and people are trained to click on these types of links.

2. I create custom palette for my ads. I choose white as the color for the border and background. This is because, all of my pages have white background. The idea is to make the adsense ads to look like they are a part of my web pages.

3. previously, I put all my adsense ads at the bottom of my pages. One day, I moved those ads to the top of the page, the result surprised my. My earning increased since then, I don’t hid my adsense ads anymore!

4. I maintain some links to other relevant websites, and I put my adsense ads at the top of the links, so that my visitors see them first.

5. I automate the insertion of adsense code into my webpages using SSI (server side included). You’ll need to ask your web administrator whether your server supports as ‘adsense.txt’, and upload it to the root directory of your web server. Next, call the code on other pages using a one line ssi code like this:

This trick is really a time saver especially for those who use automatic page generators to generate pages on their website.

signing up with adsense in your site and blog

once you've created your site and you have at least 10 pages, you're

ready to apply for adsense. lately google has been approving sites

quickly, so it shouldn't take long to hear back once up apply.

Here are some things to check for before you apply

>make sure your site has a clear theme/topic remeber you are partnering

with google to help them advertise and they are looking for sites that

have a defined theme.

plus the more focused your topic is, the more targeted the ads will be

thus increasing your click-thru ratio.
don't submit a junky site with everything from horoscopes to online

games. if your site looks too busy with no clear focus, you could be

rejected.

check your spelling and test your links. since you are going to be

partners with goolge and hosting their ads, they are not going to want

to team up with a sloopy site that has obvious types and broken links

do not put up any "under construction"messages on your site. google's

TOS (terms of service) state they do not accept sites that appear to be

under construction. your site should look complete even if you still

have more content to add later.

now you're all set! head on over to http://adsense.google.com to apply

what is google adsense?

Before getting down to the nitty gritty, i want to go ove how adsense

works in case some things are unclear.
adsense is a hybrid of google's webmaster advertising program called

adwords. in a nutshell, webmasters are paying google to promote their

ads on google.com . every time an ad gets clicked, google deducts a

pre-set amount from their advertising budget.

you can see these adwords ads by doing almost any sort of search on

google and the ads show up in the far right-hand side of the page.

now adsense is a program derived from adwords that allows

publishers(other website and blog owners like you and me) to promote

these same adwords ads on our sites.

then google will pay us, the publishers, a certain percentage of what

the adwords customers are paying google for those ads.
in othe rwords, as an adsense publisher, you are helping google

advertise these adwords ads, and google is paying you a share of the

revenue they earn every time your fvisitors click on your ads.

so let's say you have a web site on chocolate cake recepies. when you

join adsense, google will supply you with a few lines of javascript

code that you paste into your site(it's very easy to do!)

and because of their savvy technology, google can actually read your

page title, content, etc. and interpret what each page is about. so the

ads that show up on your site are relevant to the topic on your pages.

this increases the chance that people will click on your ads and of

course that just means more earnings for you

google will never disclose how much you will earn per click, but you

can earn anywhere between 0.01 and $10.00 per click, and perhaps even

more. keep in mind these numbers are just estimates. google has never

supplied any specific data on how much you can earn. they keep this

kind of information very close to the vest.

so once your account reaches $100.00 google sends you a check . and you

can even have them direct deposit the check right into your

bankaccount.

i'll go into how to apply for adsense at the end of this book, but

first i want to go over some things you need to know and understand

before you even create your blog or website

Google AdSense PIN Process

What is a PIN?
In order to become eligible to receive payments for your AdSense account, all publishers are required to enter a Personal Identification Number (PIN). PINs are printed on white 4.5 x 6 inch (11.4 x 15.2 cm) postcards and sent via standard mail. To view the outside of the PIN mailer, please see our entry on What does the PIN mailer look like?

Why do I need a PIN?
PINs are necessary to verify the accuracy of your contact information and to help ensure that you can receive your payments.

When should I expect to receive a PIN?
We'll print and send your PIN via standard mail several days after your account balance reaches the verification threshold for the first time. PINs typically arrive within 2-4 weeks, but may take longer depending on your location.

How long do I have to enter a PIN?
You'll have 6 months from the initial issue date to enter your PIN. If you have not entered a PIN within 4 months, we will replace the paid advertisements on your site with unpaid Public Service Ads. If you still have not entered your PIN within 6 months, your account will be disabled and your unpaid earnings will be refunded to the appropriate advertisers.

What if I do not receive my PIN?
If you do not receive your first PIN, you can request 2 replacement PINs. For instructions on requesting a new PIN, visit How can I request a new PIN?.
If you have requested your maximum of 3 PINs and have not received any of them within 90 days, then sign in to your account. You'll see a notice on the Reports Overview page with further instructions.

google adsense rules of 2009

If you're going to use Adsense then its important that you play by the rules both for your own benefit and everyone else's. Remember that Google haven't become the biggest advertising business on the internet without being strict and banning people who break the rules.

We have listed the quickest way to get banned from Adsense so you can AVOID them all:

Do not encourage users to click your ads in any way

Do not put ads on pages with no content, pop-up, pop-under, error page, registration or similar pages.

Do not overlap ads with content that users cannot distinguish between

Do not use automated bots to increase clicks on your site

Do not encourage or participate in 'click groups' that click each others ads. Google have been known to set these groups up to get people banned.

Make sure you don't display more than the maximum number of ads on a page. Check with the Google Adsense rules. Here are the current limits; 3 Ad units, 1 Link unit, 2 Adsense for Search boxes and a maximum of 2 Referrals (of the same product). Check the most up to date rules to be sure you are not breaking them

Do not create more than one Adsense account. You CAN have more than one site for a single Adsense account.

Do not edit or modify the Adsense code (this does not include changing properties)

Do not redirect users away from any advertisers page

Do not click your own ads (not even to test them)

Do not display pornographic, hatred or any other banned content

Do not buy banned sites, typically MFA from others

how to get more traffic to your website

Web traffic can be increased by placement of a site in search engines and purchase of advertising, including bulk e-mail, pop-up ads, and in-page advertisements. Web traffic can also be increased by purchasing non-internet based advertising.

If a web page is not listed in the first pages of any search, the odds of someone finding it diminishes greatly (especially if there is other competition on the first page). Very few people go past the first page, and the percentage that go to subsequent pages is substantially lower. Consequently, getting proper placement on search engines is as important as the web site itself.
